These sources are undoubtedly being supplied by a counterfeiting factory in China.
The genuine specs:
420D PU nylon means the nylon used is heavy duty and the PU signifies that each strand of nylon is covered with a polyurethane coating which prevents each individual strand of nylon from premature fraying. The D in the nylon spec refers to "denier" which means
thickness in the fabric world.
Greedy counterfeiters will use a cheaper grade of a lower, lighter denier nylon without the PU coating and the zippers may not come with locking sliders. Why? Because lighter nylon and standard zippers are cheaper.
Furthermore, the counterfeiters will use a weak zinc alloy for the zipper handles which will crack and crumble under mild stress. Why use a cheap zinc alloy? It's cheaper. It looks and feels like steel but it's not. It's a sham.
If the zippers on your counterfeit do not have locking sliders, or if the zipper handles crumble, the counterfeit KK Bag will be worthless to you. And the counterfeiters don't care.
Without locking sliders, the bag loses its ability to keep a snug fit - which is essential for the KK to work right. With standard zippers - any wiggle of the pet inside the bag will cause ordinary zippers to simply give way and slide open.
